I’m going to try to do a splashier announcement when the Kindle version is available too, but for now Troll Valley is available for your Nook (plus a couple odd formats for phones and things, as I understand it) from Lulu.
I’m a Kindle guy myself, and strongly object to this discrimination in favor of Nook owners. I shall send myself a stiff letter of protest without delay.

Will this book be available on paper for us poor souls who have neither a Nook nor a Kindle?
Alas, I have no plans to sell paper versions soon. Because I’m self-publishing, it would have to be Print On Demand, and the costs for that are steep. You probably wouldn’t want to pay what I’d have to charge.
I’m not keen on reading an entire book on my desktop computer, but at least there is the option of getting a PDF download. How long is the book?

Just finished it.
Pros: A gripping story that got me thinking about many life issues and what the Bible calls the deceitfulness of sin. In a way, reading Troll Valley felt like a guilty pleasure. it touched on topics that are just not talked about under the unwritten rules of my family of origin.
Cons: The ending seemed rather abrupt. It reminded me of what i do when I’m in the middle of my sermon and note that my time is up. I quickly summarize the most important remaining points and leave a lot of loose ends hanging.
That’s interesting. What plot lines would you say I left unresolved?
It wasn’t so much that threads were left hanging, but that they were tied up too abruptly. I’ll try to comment without revealing too much of a spoiler.
My biggest problem was with the visions he had during his delirium. I felt like I didn’t understand the relationship between the dance and the Red Hats. it struck me as a quickie deux ex machina.
Also, I wasn’t quite sure who the parties were in the conversation that he overheard and how they fitted into the rest of the story. I recognized that the ladies name had shown up earlier in the story, but my ebook reader didn’t allow me to search the text to review who she was. I hadn’t a clue who she was talking to.
In spite of that, I agree with the lady in the other thread that it was a real page turner. I stayed up reading till 3:30 Sunday night in spite of the fact that I had to get up Monday morning to teach a class.
