But when I got to Psalm 23, something happened. I read through it\u00a0in a minute or two, and not a single substantive thought went through my head. When I reached the end, my mind was blank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Why? Because it\u2019s\u00a0Psalm 23! Everyone knows it. I\u2019ve probably had it memorized since I was 7\u00a0years old. Over the years, the psalm has dissolved, for me, into a rote sequence of words. What a shame. Gratefully, I remember\u00a0Jon Foreman\u2019s song &#8216;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LtDXHgTi-5s\" target=\"_blank\">House of God Forever<\/a>.'&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve had a similar revitalizing through Michael Card&#8217;s songs from the Psalms in his album, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2GPi254\"><em>The Way of Wisdom<\/em><\/a>.
