But that will only be when there isn\u2019t amazing news to tell about it. And today is not that day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was just announced \u2013 and I just got word \u2013 that <em>Atlantic Crossing <\/em>will be part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wgbh\/masterpiece\/specialfeatures\/masterpiece-marks-50th-year-2021-schedule-news\/#\">Spring 2021 lineup <\/a>on the prestigious PBS \u201cMasterpiece\u201d series (which most of us still call &#8220;Masterpiece Theater&#8221;) this spring (scroll down to the Spring listing).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I need hardly mention that I\u2019m over the moon about this. While I was working on the series, I thought more than once that this was perfect material for \u201cMasterpiece.\u201d But I had the idea they only broadcast British stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In point of fact, this will be the first time a Norwegian series has ever been broadcast on \u201cMasterpiece.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I humbly take personal responsibility for all this success.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019ll write about something other than the (brilliant) Norwegian miniseries, Atlantic Crossing (on which I did translation work \u2013 not sure I\u2019ve mentioned that), one of these days.
