I’m rather closed-minded on this subject. I don’t expect pastors to minister for free. The laborer is worthy of his hire.
I guess this is the best opportunity I’ll get in a while to do this. I’ve written up the stories of the Book of Judges as a book, and it’s available for free download at http://www.oripomerantz.com/religion.html .
Ori, that looks like something that might be interesting to both Jewish and Christian parents.
I was aiming for that effect. My kids know the stories of the Tanakh mostly from VeggieTales. I see no reason not to return the favor. A lot of religious material can bring more value by aiming at Jews and Christians.
I also have a fantasy book based on 800 BCE that should be of interest to both. It’s currently gathering virtual dust in Baen, if they reject it I’ll probably post it on the Web too.
