I generally do a ctrl-a, ctrl-c (no matter what web tool I’m using) prior to submitting, as this puts it on the clipboard.
Question: was the post inadvertently set to draft? If so, you’ll see it in the right sidebar – that means it exists, but just not for public consumption. You could switch it to public.
