I saw it…and that description fits. Heath Ledger as the Joker was chilling…very well done. I will have to take some time to process this movie…maybe need to see it again. Wow.
Yeah, I think Dark Knight is the most well-done film of the year…dark and disturbing at its comments on the limitations on even the best men’s virtue, and yet startlingly redemptive with Christian themes.
It’s also thoroughly drenched with humor, which is a blessing–though it’s kinda hard to get in the mood for laughter in the midst of all the scenes of evil and injustice.
