Mickey McLean at World Magazine reports on a Nebraska state senator whose lawsuit against God was recently thrown out of court.
I think I read elsewhere that the senator wasn’t actually in earnest (Gee, you think?), but was merely attempting to make some kind of point.
What kind, I have no idea.
Nor do I care.
Tonight’s the big night. Tonight I get the chance to see the television broadcast I’ve been waiting for, arguably the most important night of TV this year.
I mean, of course, the return of “Pushing Daisies” on ABC.
I wish somebody with Ned’s life-giving touch could give a massage to the McCain campaign.
I love, love, love Pushing Daisies!
Your agreement shows your excellent good taste.
Oh, I really like that show. But Lars, it’s been on for a couple of weeks.
Well, I missed it until last night (I was gone to Minot for a week, which accounts for at least one episode).
So it was the return for me. And since the entire universe is a construct of my imagination, that’s all that really matters, isn’t it? 😉
Ho! Well, I missed it last night, so I’ll have to catch it later on the internet, which is how I watch most of my TV shows these days.
I’m a big fan of TV on DVD. My wife and I will binge on an entire season in a couple weeks.
You seem to be speaking of a strange concept that involves spending money on stuff that you actually won’t die if you don’t have it. I’ve heard of people doing such things, but have no experience of them personally.
I hope you got to see it – our local affiliate ran “Wheel of Fortune”, instead (maybe the debate altered the schedule).
I agree with you about “Pushing Daisies” – I think it’s original and delightful. I’m also grateful to the series for introducing me to Kristin Chenoweth.
Now I need to set aside some time to re-watch a few of last season’s episodes (bought the S1 DVD at Amazon).
“The facts are these …”
