Welcome to the Forum, on the way to which a funny thing happened. Why the crowd is laughing so much, I don’t know, but maybe I’m just visualizing the threat of battle too much.
I can’t help thinking the axe-welder at the beginning did not prevail only because of a technicality. I’d like the referees to examine the tapes. Doesn’t the axe touch the other player’s head and stomach (or hypochondriac region)? Shouldn’t that have put him down a good bit?
Well, it’s all kind of subjective. When you’re wearing armor, we generally figure you can be hit a few times before you’re considered wounded. But frankly, it’s easy to overlook a touch in the heat of battle. Even in real battle (I’m told) a guy is sometimes just too excited to notice he’s been killed, until he falls down.
I think I just saw a glimpse of a promo about a new show on the Discovery Channel that looked like it was about this type of fighting. Do you know anything about that?
I don’t know a thing about it.
