Beyond the dread arena of Google Fight. What ideas, whose ideas, reign supreme in the mindshare of Google users. The truth could hurt.
- Charles Spurgeon falls to Dwight Moody by over 25,000 hits
- John Calvin crushes Arminius, landing three hits for every two.
- Martin Luther destroys John Calvin with 22,200,000 hits
- In an ugly fight bound for a rematch, Baptist whip up on Presbyterians, and Lutherans lay down the smack on the out-matched Unitarians.
- On the ideas side of the arena, hope falls to change by a wide margin.
- Change goes on to fillet responsibility and cook up humble pie for economy. Can change be defeated?
- In other news, nice upsets naughty, Monty Python lays down like a rug for SNL, and Google outwits Yahoo.
Lutherans versus Unitarians was never a fair fight to begin with. After all, Martin’s gang has grace, liberty, truth and an appreciation of good beer on their side.
What about Brandywine Books vs. Maple Mountain Story Club?
My guess: a slaughter.
I didn’t think of pairing this blog with others. I wonder if you could pick words that would rank in the tens of results.
Oh, a link would help the original post.
As for that fight, S.D., BwB beats MMSC by a slim margin.
Today MMSC, tomorrow Lileks!
I did AFLC vs. ELCA, & of course ELCA won, but AFLC did interestingly well at 15300 vs. 1150000, which is about twice as well as the membership statistics would suggest (about 30,000 AFLC vs. 4,700,000 ELCA).
That is very funny.
How come the MMSC stack is higher, but the count is lower?
My hopes rose and were then dashed.
I’ll pobably post the results for my mom and sister to read over at my popular blog.
