From my home town paper: “Chattanooga has made huge strides in emphasizing art, attracting artists to move here, reporting on arts events and generally being supportive of the arts,” Janis Wilkey, a local painter, told the Chattanooga Times Free Press. From what I can tell, it’s great to have artists and art support in our town, and its a call for prayer. Art is for glorifying the Lord just as all of life is, and artists seem to have a knack for trying to making themselves or their art gods.
