Congratulations!
If you were smiling, the photo would be perfect!:)
I believe a “WOOT!” is in order.
WOOT! WOOT!
(Two WOOTs is probably strong sign of geekiness or non-youth guy trying to sound cool by using lingo he doesn’t understand. sigh)
It’s a great picture! He looks like a stunned father holding his newborn baby for the first time. To both I would say the same thing–Congratulations!
Thanks to all of you.
Got to get me one of those. Got to re-read The Year of the Warrior, too.
Incidentally, I noted your copies of Lewis’ Space Trilogy on the shelf behind you; I’ve got exactly the same edition on my shelf upstairs, with the dust covers in pretty much the same state of well-read-ness. 🙂
THAT’S what I’m talking about! Too cool for words, Lars. Too cool for words.
Congratulations Lars!
WOOT!!
I think you ought to get that woot looked at, Phil.
If I’d never heard of this guy before, I’d still be thinking his book would be a reasonably good bet: look at what’s in the background. The Lewis space trilogy in hardcover. Lewis’s Collected Letters. (Even Boxen!) Sherlock Holmes. (But what’s that uniform set of black hardcover books?)
It’s a complete set of the Time-Life Seafarers series.
