Someone in the marketing department is talking about blogging in 2006. He seems to make good points, but I still don’t like the label “Web 2.0.” It’s old-school, though it may be a better name than anything that would be more accurate.
Feel free to comment on Brandywine Books in this thread whether or not it relates to this list of blog observations. Complain, entreat, rebuke, what have you.
[This question on “dust” is not politically correct!]
Overnight has the name “Rainy—” changed into your real name?
I’m sorry. I’m not following you on the ‘dust’ question. Is it one of the new verification questions? Did I make a dialect faux pas?
About ‘Raindream’ being replaced, you’re right. I changed it a few days ago without realizing what I was changing. When I saw it at the top of each post, I changed it back. ‘Raindream’ is a nickname I used, but you don’t need to use it here.
I often speak in a cryptic way…sorry!
Here is the explanation: the verification question was of the true/false type concerning a quotation in old English, I think from the Bible.
Oh! That one. It’s one of my attempts to use literature in the questions while keeping the answer easy. The quote is from a HW Longfellow poem, linked in this post.
