I always found the “Kung Fu” series pretty comical. Carradine’s character spent the first 50 minutes of the show preaching non-violence, and the last 10 beating the crap out of the bad guys, in slow mo, no less. Funny.
I always found it an aggravating show, and didn’t watch it much. In fact, I generally found Carradine aggravating. I recently re-watched “The Long Riders,” and was surprised that the historical liberties taken were even worse than I’d remembered. I particularly disliked Carradine’s portrayal of Cole Younger. He played him as crude thug who dressed like a bum. Everyone who knew Cole Younger, friend and foe, acknowledged that he always acted and dressed like a gentleman.
the Kung Fu master will always be a source of wisdom for his students…
