Sweden Has Pirates in Government

The Pirate Party, a legitimate political organization in Sweden, wants to eliminate patents and make copyright a free-flowing breeze. How much does the Swedish government underwrite these people’s lifestyles for them to believe this nonsense? I think someone should propose to film a movie in Sweden and ask the pirates to volunteer, understanding they will not be paid or fed.

  1. I hadn’t heard of this. Seems like they have some legitimate concerns, and some very weird solutions.

Not the first time that’s happened.

And yes, for the record, there’s something wrong with the Swedes. They suffer from the unbearable affliction of having lives that are way too pleasant.

  2. Is that why they were traumatized by a slightly eery look on a supermodel’s face via studio lighting?

Well, maybe they’ll turn out to be the “pirates who don’t do anything.”
