James Fallows calls this weekly world edition of the UK Telegraph the greatest front page ever. I’ve seen this kind of thing before. It’s the absence of cognitive dissonance, a blindness to irony. It’s doing what you’re told without thinking about it or maybe not proofing. Or maybe they thought it was funny.

Well, it’s good Photoshop, if it is. I think it would have to be taken from two different newspapers, and that could result in different grains, creases, or lighting on the papers. I didn’t see any of that. It’s a weekly paper from Britain too, so those two stories would be in the news during that time.
I just saw this front page scan on a advertising critics blog. I think it’s legit.
