I recently read The Collected Poems of A.A. Milne to my youngest daughter. I think his poetry was better than his Winnie The Pooh stories. While written in a simplistic style for children, the thoughts expressed were deep enough to give an adult fodder to muse upon.
As for spring, I just made up a poem of my own about a sure sign of spring in my house.
