Leonard Nimoy’s Other Roles

The actor best known as Mr. Spock died today. Leonard Nimoy leaves behind many appearances in shows outside the Star Trek universe, such as The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

  1. I was surprised to see him playing a teenage thug in an early 50’s episode of Dragnet that I got in one of those gazillion B&W detective shows for $5 sets.

  2. Yeah, I saw that one. I also saw him recently on the Man from U.N.C.L.E. (in the episode above, where Bill Shatner and Werner Klemperer also had roles), and MeTV ran his Perry Mason episode last night. I remember a western he did post-Trek, called Catlow. It starred Richard Crenna, and Nimoy played a killer outlaw. He was fine in the role, but you kept thinking, “Spock with a Winchester.”
