Our Secret Masters revealed

OK, here’s the thing.

Via Mirabilis, I find this little internet test thingie, which analyzes your blog and tells you where it scores on the Myers Briggs personality scale.

So I run our URL through the rollers.

And how do we come out?

ESTP – The Doers

The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

My question(s) is (are), does that sound like Phil?

Does that sound like me?

The only possible conclusion I can draw is that this blog is secretly being run by the Illuminati (who are well known ESTP types).

  1. My blog got “INTP – The Thinkers,” which is what I was aiming for with it, but it also shows a little cartoon drawing with a guy pecking away on a MAC, the most-pretentious of all personal computers. I am offended.

  2. I’m enjoying my new iMac at work. I have a Waacom tablet with pen too, one of those must have graphic design tools. I should post a photo, but would you still speak to me afterward?

I wonder if The Friday Fight skewed the test a bit. Or maybe we don’t use pretentious enough verbage in our posts.

  3. In the next episode of The Mentalist, the criminal, who is friendly and easy to work with, is identified by his enthusiastic use of a Mac! He even wanted his nephew named Steve!

  4. UPDATE: Now we are ISTP, the Mechanics. “The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.”

  5. I will say to anyone who notices and cares that software updates on the Mac seem far more annoying than Windows ever did. Why do I have to download 70-80M and click that I agree to the liscense agreement everytime I update iTunes?
