I plan to see Max McLean’s production of The Screwtape Letters this weekend in Chattanooga. It should be terrific, probably even convicting.

Hey, cool.
Have fun! If you get a chance, can you ask if they’re planning to release a DVD?
Surely they will have that in the program or the lobby material. I’ll look for it.
From the short video clip they provide it looks wild.
– John Cleese has a great reading on audio, if anyone hasn’t heard it.
Andy Serkis has one through Focus on the Family. It may be available now.
Did not see any DVDs. There are audio CDs, but not video DVDs.
So….what did you think of it?
It was fantastic. Of course, it was abridged from the book, and I thought he hit on many very good points of temptation and the nature of God. I liked the drama related to Wormwood’s attempt to get Screwtape in trouble with the interior police on a heresy charge. That gave us several minutes of dialogue focusing on God’s love for men.
