I’m not remembering one you posted. I found one on You Tube a few years ago and I remember thinking it was so delightful, she being gorgeous, and what a cute song it was. The next day it was removed. I sought out another version of the song, and I found it sung by a mountain country group or something. The woman singing actually looked the part of the song (not being the marrying type, rough edges, and such), and it put a completely different spin on the song.
But what I remember from Sissel’s performance was another live recording at a much smaller venue.
I keep wondering where I saw that bald fiddler with the glasses before. I’ve come to the conclusion that he looks like several men who belonged to my church when I was a kid. Those Norwegian genes tell.
That’s not the video I remember from a while back, but it’s a great song. I love it, and the band or group of musicians with her.
