I’m not good at riddles, but I love them still. This one has been a favorite since grade school.
What is the beginning of all eternity,
The end of time and space,
The beginning of every end,
And the end of every place?

Yes, Sherry. It’s the letter E. I got one of my high school classes worked up over this one because they couldn’t get off of the metaphysical plane.
Thank God the answer is here, or I would have been worrying over this all day.
Rather impressive that you can’t get your high school students off the metaphysical plane!
Shelley, I should clarify my comment. I meant that at the beginning of one of my classes back in high school, I wrote this on the board and stirred up my classmates. It was a small class at a Christian school, so we were used to metaphysical ideas.
I’ll admit it. I don’t begrudge others their pleasure in riddles, but I hate them. That’s not too strong a word. It might be too mild. Riddles fill me with a very righteous-feeling rage.
Because, essentially riddles are all cheats.
And that just burns at me.
lol
Okay, carry on with your fun. ๐
gosh, it doesn’t seem fun anymore. . . where to go from here . . .
I can see what you’re saying about the cheats. Sometimes I feel that way too, but most of the time, I like the riddle for the game it is.
haha Sorry, that was definitely supposed to be a, “Gee, look what a dork Nevets is,” type of moment, not a disruption of the fun.
Carry on and riddle away! ๐
I feel brilliant because “e” was my guess, too! I always feel brilliant when I get a riddle right… it’s not very common. ๐
